This is amazing now there is no need of internet connection and Netbeans to build mash ups with jmaki components. Now they released Html version just download the Html version webtop and we can use that with minimum System configuration.

This is very nice to here from sun, jmaki is really cool when you develop any pages.It reduces pain for the developer to build any site with ajax and latest widgets(Maps, Geo coder, Fish Eye and some other components...) with drag and drop facility so within one hour you can build a site with latest features..
To use the jmaki the best IDE is netbeans5.5 or more. just get the jmaki nbm module install it and open a web project you will get jamki pallet, from there you can drag and drop the components on to the page. just concentrate on the glue.js for publish and subscribe mechanism. If you are new to the jmaki or glue.js please see the below links to become proficient in jmaki.
